Queer Sport Calendar uses a self-hosted instance of Umami Analytics to understand how people use the website and to help improve its content, filters, and design.

Analytics may include information such as:

• pages visited;
• general usage information, such as browser, device type, and referring website;
• filters used, such as sport, country, continent, date range, and tags;
• interactions with features, such as adding an event to your calendar or visiting an event website;
• language selection; and
• search terms submitted through the tournament search.

Search terms are collected because they can help identify information people are looking for that may be difficult to find through the existing filters or website design.

Please avoid entering personal or sensitive information into the search field.

Queer Sport Calendar does not use analytics for advertising or cross-site tracking.

We do not intentionally use analytics to identify individual visitors or build personal profiles about them.

We do not sell analytics data to advertisers or other third parties.

Session recording and heatmap tracking are not currently enabled.

The analytics setup does not use analytics cookies to recognize you across visits.

Other essential parts of the website may use browser storage or cookies where technically necessary. If this changes in a way that materially affects your privacy, this policy will be updated.

Queer Sport Calendar operates its own Umami Analytics instance rather than sending website analytics to a third-party analytics platform.

The website and its infrastructure are nevertheless hosted using external infrastructure providers, which may process technical information as necessary to provide their services.

Analytics data is used only for operating, understanding, maintaining, and improving Queer Sport Calendar.

Queer Sport Calendar contains links to tournament organizers, sports organizations, community groups, and other external websites.

Those websites have their own privacy practices. Queer Sport Calendar is not responsible for how external websites collect or use information.
